Guangzhou 12:30p local time
We're finally settled into the hotel in downtown Guangzhou. Arrived around midnight Friday after some delays once we were on the ground. It appears that someone 5 rows behind us had a high fever, so the guys in the funny white suits had to swab the person's throat. Fortunately for us we were beyond the 3 row zone from them (only by 2....whew!). All travelers within that range of that row were given orders regarding quarantine. I've attached some pictures documenting the team checking our temperatures. No delays after that, though. All bags
arrived and we made it through customs without incident. Also attached are pictures of the
area just outside our hotel. Oh yeah, and a picture of a public restroom that Julie couldn't
resist sharing with you. I'll video the surrounding area during the next two days of free time
and publish another post.

Julie and Joe - So glad to hear that you are there safely!! We have been praying for you! We are all at the lake house right now. I am loving getting to spend time with your other kids! I got to tuck the girls in last night but I made mom pray for Charlie. I told her we were gonna get her prayin one way or another! Thanks for the updates.
